I am going to be stuck in an office with a Mac on which I am probably not allowed to install anything for a week and my laptop is currently being repaired. I don't really know much about Macs and don't currently have access to one. Is it possible to install g++, QT4, and jedit on a USB flash drive so I can run them from a Mac without changing its hard drive?

No there is not. You could put the install files on it, but you are unable to run it or a live version off the flash drive.
