Hi guys,

I am facing a very tough time using After Effects CS3 on my 2.53Ghz and 4GB Ram Macbook Pro.

Whenever I start compoisting in AE my computer slows down and especially when I begin to render then it is really really bad, its like my whole macbook comes to a stand still and I would have to wait for the rendering to finish so that I can do different things on my Mac.

For rending a 1minute 30 sec compositing video with 2 layers and chroma keyed takes about 1hr and 30 minutes with the Apple Pro Res 4444 settings.
Is it the setting that I am going wrong with or some setting in AE please help me coz I really like AE but it really makes my MAC slow!!
