Since I upgraded to Tiger on my Powerbook G4 I find that the whole machine freezes, often when trying to use Mail or Safari. Yes, I have the latest updates on the machine and over 500MB ram.
Once it freezes and I shutdown the only way to get it up and running again is to do a power management command - SHIFT-CONTROL-OPTION-POWER BUTTON.
I am backing up my entire hard drive to an external drive as a precaution. I did not do a clean install when I upgraded to Tiger, would doing this help solve this problme? Any other possible causes for this problem?
