I just got a MacBook Pro over the weekend (have been eyeballing for a while...my first mac and I <3 it). I have had itunes on my work computer for a bit and have downloaded songs. When I got my Macbook Pro up and running and got iTunes going...no songs. I thought it would automatically download the songs I had purchased on the account. The pro is authorized and I have tired "check for downloads." What am I doing wrong/not doing?

iTunes does not allow for the re-downloading of purchased content (music, movies, tv shows) with the exception of the app store.

You will need to transfer your content from one computer to the other.
The easiest way is to turn on Homesharing in iTunes 9.

Ut-oh. So the only way I can get them is to bring my computer into work and hook it to my work computer. Woops. Glad I didn't go too crazy with downloads.

Thanks for the answer!
