Iwork pages template with a auto update date

Is there a way in Pages to make a template that has a date that can autofil witht the todays date when it opens. for school i need at the top something like this

The date part i would like to auto fill when ever it opens


any ideas?

With word processor page - go to Insert Menu and select Date & Time. Default is to auto update as i recall. Then File as Save as Template
