Hello everyone,

I opened my macbook today, cos I wanted to see how easy would be to change only the keyboard (cos all the right part is not working). as far as i can see the actual keyboard is like welded to the top cover, can anybody suggest an easy way to overcome this problem, pls?

I would like to change with a black one.

Cheers

Have your exact model number on hand and go to this web site:

iFixit: Apple Mac, MacBook, iPod, and iPhone Repair Parts

Look up your model number, find replacement keyboards, and then go to the step by step procedures for changing one out. I don't believe a black keyboard is interchangeable with the one you have.

Regards.
