looking for anything else like stuffit

tired of using stuffit. tired of its problems. tired of the company. does anyone else know of a program to use that could handle all extensions (including .sit)? i know that some are built in to os X but i am unable to open .sit files..its rather annoying.

StuffIt and its parent have been getting more annoying with every version release. I think that's why Apple has built ZIP compression in now.

There's not much support for .sit files elsewhere.

Maybe an older version of Expander? 7.x? 8.x? Be careful, some versions have security problems.
