I recently purchased music on my iPhone and when I went to sync it with my iMac, I lost all songs from my iPhone and now I cannot get them back. Is there anyway to recover this lost music or do I have to bite the bullet and purchase it again?

Actually, there is something in iTunes that will allow you transfer purchased songs. I had the same situation.
I haven't tackled it yet, but I have to move my songs to my MBP. I dread that, so any advice or software to make this less arduous and painful would be awesome.
