iWork Pages problem

Hello guys,
I am trying to link text boxes in iWork Pages 09, but i can't make it... For example it is impossible to link one word putted in a text box with another one... Any suggestions?

yes this is very simple open a new document make one new text box, Next under the format tab in the menu bar scroll down to text box and then add linked text box. The 1st box must be selected,
