how to set up mail

I was just wondering how can I set up mail on my mac so that I can manage all my email accounts....I tried to do the setup but I heard you have to get yahoo mail plus and that isn't free...can I still do something to set up this mail application on my mac without having to get some subscription .....?

No there's really nothing you can do with your Yahoo mail unless you pay for the service. Yahoo's free emails don't have POP or IMAP access. Google's Gmail gives you free access to both so you can use it with email applications such as Mail or Thunderbird, etc.

I have a .live.com mail account set up on my Mac thru Mac Mail ....
Is there any particular account you want ??
You can MSN, Gmail, AOL, Microsoft Exchange and more ...
Do you need it to be yahoo??
