I was wondering, is there a way to change how a file type looks? For example, if my default .jpg viewer is Preview, then all .jpg files would have the icon of Preview. Or Word doucuments would have a Word icon. Is there a way to change this? I don't want to change the application used to open it, I want to change how a certain file type looks. Thanks! :biohazard

yes, you would change the apps icon in the finder, then all files saved by it or related to it should adopt the icon, I think, or you may have to use candy bar to change it.
