How many cooling fans does my new Macbook have, and are they very effective?

I cant exactly tell you the answer to the amount of fans, maybe wait for someone more technically minded to come along, or try googling it? Of course it would depend on what you were using your macbook for, but I think they are effective. I only just got my macbook and haven't felt heat on my legs at all, and I mainly use it on my lap, which I guess means that the fans are working efficiently?

I fail to see why they wouldn't be effective. I wouldn't worry about it unless your laptop is overheating, so you're all clear.

It is the new Macbook unibody. It does get sort of hot on my legs, hotter than is comfortable to touch, so I am just wondering.
