Hello,

I have a friend that has 3 email addresses. I tried to create a smart mailbox for the purpose of being able to access all the emails he sent to me.

I created a smart mailbox, but the only boolean it provides is ANY and ALL for messages. The smart mailbox name is called phil.

I put in 3 filter rules, one for each email address. It basically said FROM - Contains - and his email accounts.

The problem with this is the smart mailbox shows me each message 3 times.

1. Once from "Inbox"
2. Again from "Inbox - Gmail"
3. and again from "phil"

I can't for the life of me figure out the proper way to only show the emails from one location instead of the 3 shown above.

It would be great if I could have added "Any", "ALL","NOT", "OR" type Booleans lol.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thank you.

"Any" in smart mailbox lingo = boolean OR, so:

"From" "Is Equal To" (type in Phil's exact email address #1) PLUS
"From" "Is Equal To" (type in Phil's exact email address #2) PLUS
etc.

Result: smart mailbox will have any email from any of those three addresses

Go to Mail > Preferences > Rules then he/you can set up quite a few criteria there and have select emails go into a Newly named mailbox.
