Expose and Xvid not getting along

Im playing a movie in Xvid and expose is cause it to hyper pause and screen tare. Very annoying, dashboard doing it now too. anyone else having this issue with 1.0 alpha?

I see no link on the Xvid site for OS X versions to update too...:[
