I received a 23" Samsung 2333HD TV/Monitor. I have it hooked up to my 15" Macbook Pro but the picture quality is not even close to what the MBP screen shows. I have them hooked up together with mini-DV to DVI adaptor to a DVI/HDMI cable then into the HDMI input on the Samsung. I have tried all of the different resolution settings and input mode settings but it is just not getting a good enough picture. Mostly it's just not very sharp. Increasing the sharpness setting on the Samsung just makes it grainy and causes a halo effect aroung the text and icons. Technical support at the Apple store told me this is the same way their monitors are hooked up and all is great. Any suggestions?
