where is "shanghai CN"??

I order my new iMac on the 7th, and today it shows shipped. wooo hooo! The problem is that Fed Ex shows its being shipped from SHANGHAI CN. Whenn i tried to look this place up on MapQuest, it shows that the abbreviation is wrong. come to find out CN isnt an abbreviation for any state in the US. So where is Shanghai CN???

Give it 3-5 days, it will get there. My powerbook got here 2 days before it was suppose to and it came from the same place.

it's in china and you think it will get to my house in 3-5 days? Apple shows that i should give it like 12 days. which sucks, i had no choice in shipping. shipping was free but i would have paid to get it faster. sorry now i'm just whining.

dude, 5 days, it will be there. My iPod took 3 days, I think my powerbook 4 and I live in Kansas.

When my first mac shipped, I thought it was being shipped from Shanghai, Connecticut. It took me awhile to figure out that the two didn't relate somehow. I don't know, what the heck I was thinking. Being blonde from the yesteryears must still be having an effect on me.

i thought it would be connecticut too. 5 days does that include weekends or just weekdays? thanks for the help

If this is FedEx, they don't ship on the weekends (unless you give them more money for special delivery, of course), I believe. With UPS, they don't ship on Sundays.

i ordered it on the 10th. dont know why i wrote 7th before. i think iwould have paid just about anything to have gotten it on the 11th. now it looks like i wont get it till the 24th. bummer. me want, me want iMac.

It will not take 13 days, I will put money on it. Search the threads using key words like China or shanghai and you will find that most people get theirs in a reasonable amount of time, even those on the east coast, far from mecca, I mean Shanghai.

As I said before, it will get there before its "planned arrival date". It will get there earlier than you think and since you dont believe me here are some other threads that I pointed to before.

fed ex does show it will be delivered on the 20th by 10:00am. looks like you were rite.
