i'll ask it anyway - as of this minute, my mouse power is at 18%...keyboard at 100%

i've had the puter about 3 weeks or so...

i understand that using the mouse more would use more power, but this big of difference?

just wonderin'

Wireless, especially BT mice chew through batteries like they're going out of style. RF wireless mice seem to be a little more battery friendly (well, at least certain ones from Logitech are, I'm only on my second set of batteries on a logitech rf wireless mouse and I've had the mouse probably 7 months now?).

If I get another BT mouse, it'll be a rechargeable mouse; dealing with batteries and having sets of batteries laying around to swap out just in case to me is a hassle.

It won't mess up your "I'm sooo much cooler than you...mac persona"...if you're using a desktop computer in your home where no one can see you!;)

If you have a laptop...and use the wireless keyboard & mouse in public (which might be a bit awkward)...well then maybe!;)

Precisely why I bought a corded mouse to use with my Mini!

My mouse is at 62% & my keyboard at 91%. But I did change batteries a month ago in my mouse because I was having problems with the swiping feature on my mouse & thought it might be the batteries. So I'd say my magic mouse does use up batteries but not that quickly.
