Synching an app that was pulled from the Appstore

I recently purchased AppVault Pro, an awesome app, but it was pulled from the app store for reasons, IMHO, that are BS. My question/problem is this: Since I purchased the app, I have not performed a synch or backup of my iPhone in iTunes. Is there a way to get AppVault into my iTunes without it being automatically deleted? That would make me cry and I'm a grown man.
