I was scrolling through finder when i suddenly found in my ¨all documents¨folder all the files i dont want!

like msn thumbnail pictures and minor files it catches up when visiting a website.

i only have my mac for 2 days and this folder is already packed with hundreds and hundreds of documents.

how can i delete them i mean its a hard work to figure out which ive been downloading and which i didnt like thumbnails and such.

is there also way to turn this off?

Kindly Regards

Exactly what is the path to this "all documents" folder? Am not aware of any such folder, though I guess there could be one deeper than I've delved into the file system.

just open finder then on the left theres ¨search for¨ and under that theres ¨all documents¨

i see there are system files inside like garage band loops and visited website files and msn thumbnails.

its so much that i dont even know where to begin for.

maybe ¨all documents¨ is a sub folder? if so where can i locate the folder where all the garbage files are located and to turn it off?

kindly regards

That's not a folder - it is simply a search that shows you all of the documents on your computer. If you select a folder, right click and select "Get Info", you can see where that file is. My advice - don't delete anything unless you have created it especially if you're new to Macs.
