I got a 32 gig 3rd gen iPod touch for christmas. It wont let me have more than 11 pages of apps. In itunes there's apps on the 12th page but the 12th page is tinted grey and it doesn't appear on my ipod. I really need to know what's happening and how to fix it.

there is nothing to fix. 11 pages is the limit ( up from 8 in pre 3.0 ) the 12th page is just showing you the over flow.

Delete apps that you do not use?

That's the best bet. I'm sure you don't use all those apps daily.

why not just keep them on the computer incase you want them later ? They will update and stay currant just use itunes to move the ones you dont want to sync past page 12 or un-select them if you want the others in no certain order

Good point. I'm sure you'll be fine with only 166 apps of which I'm sure you may only use 10 or so on a regular basis.
