Hello, I recently was able to get my hands on a Xserve G5 Cluster with no Sled. I want to be able to boot it from a external firewire. I set up a Netboot image hosted on a Mini of 10.5 server and the Xserve can boot off of it and runs fine.

I also set up a NetInstall image of 10.5 server and can install the operating system onto the firewire drive. After the installation is complete, the Xserve reboots, but can not find the firewire drive. When i boot into the Netboot image and go to startup disks, the firewire drive shows up as bootable hard drive. I select it and reboot but still it does not find it on reboot.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
