Podcasts on IPOD but don't show in Itunes

There are several Podcasts on my IPOD touch, that don't show as being on the IPOD when i access through Itunes. As a result, I can't delete them from the IPOD. Any help appreciated.

Why cant you delete them from the iPod. I just did one of mine.
Bring up said PodCasts in the list view, hold your finger on the title of the one you want to delete and drag your finger right.
This should bring up a RED DELETE button.
Press that and hey presto, said PodCast is no longer on your iPod .....
