Hi all!! Forgive my ignorance (still a n00b lol), but how might I change the language of my entire Macbook to French? Also, would this allow me to easily type the French accent marks, say, on things like Facebook? Merci!!

Open SystemPrefrences>Language and Text and drag the language you want to set it to at the top of your list.

Then log out and when you log back in it the language will be set to french.

Here's an Apple article on how to change your Macintosh's language:

Mac 101: Set your preferences

...scroll down to "Change your language".

But basically you go to:

- System Preferences
- click on "International"
- click on the "language" tab
- choose the desired language
- restart your Mac

Hope this helps,

- Nick
