boot problem

i have a notebook that does not work right now, when i start it the monitor became something like clear with the grey apple in the middle and the weel running like usual but never stop .... so the o s does not run well .... what i can do.

First, what did u do just before the problem started? Meantime have a hunt thru here to see if u can find a solution.
