:)I lost my Appleworks on my Mac O S x 10.4.11.

It was an error 10660. It says Appleworks is in the trash. How do I get it out?

Have been on phone 3 hours today with Apple and they can't help.

Anybody any ideas?

Ditto to George's question. Open the Trash to see if AW is actually there. It would be highly unusual for Tiger OS to delete an application without your involvement.

The 10660 error relates to trying to open a document with what appears to be the wrong application, in other words, an identity crisis. The cause may be a corrupted AW file that thinks it should be opened by MS Word, but can't be - or vice-versa.
