Mail question after upgrading to Tiger

OK I have a ton of emails before I upgraded to Tiger now they are all gone. I did the upgrade not a reinstall. Can someone tell me where mail is stored so I can try to imort them. I was running 10.3.9 before the upgrade

All of your mail is stored in User/Library/Mail. Check to see if they're there.
