I have a iMac and use it to play ripped DVD's that I use in teacher a foreign language. I have multiple DVD's so having them ripped helps keep the session going without having to change out DVD's.
My issue though is with the Apple Remote and it seems to be the same weather I have using the ripped files or just use a DVD.
Sometime when I launch the DVD through Front Row. The Apple Remote functions well. Allowing me to navigate up and down, left and right. Then sometimes it just wants to do Volume Up and Down, Fast Forward and Rewind. Is there an option that I can set to disable the volume and fast forward features or is this just the way it is?
