It's mostly about personal preference. In my opinion, VMWare is more robust and stable, whereas Parallels is more feature-rich and updated more often.

Download the free trials and figure out which one you like best.

I prefer VMware I feel its a little more stable, and depending on what your doing can work much better.... what are you looking to do?

I want to run office and other programs that I have without having to switch between partitions or another pc. And don't want to re-buy office for mac.

I'll throw my support behind VirtualBox. It's free and if you don't need (m)any of the fancy features available with Parallels/Fusion, it works just as well (especially with Windows).

+1 for Virtual Box. I switched when Parallels 5 came out and I was unwilling to part with any more money to run Windows once every 2 weeks. VB has done everything I've asked of it, and you can't beat the price. Good luck!

Just read up on Virtualbox and the picture of it running in seamless mode and it looked pretty good, but can you drag and drop between the host and client?
