Okay so I am new to the forum, so please forgive any thread repeats. I have been living in a 15" macbook pro happily for about 2 years now. I am an IT pro, and end up doing a lot of data recovery for Windows machines. I have a nice collection of Windows based recovery utilities and consequently this is the final holdout for me when it comes to using Fusion in Unity mode to run said apps. I really want to find some file recovery software that will run native on my OS X and can see NTFS partitions and recover data from them. Of course it would be nice if that same software could handle OS X and Linux partitions too. Does anyone know of any magical software that can recover from virtually any partition format that I can run on my Mac?

Thanks!

You might check out a new product by Paragon - Rescue Kit for Mac. Still in testing and pre-release stage currently. Suppose to handle backup and recovery for NTFS and HFS, no luck with Linux partitions though.
