i need help on hard drive up grade please

hi guys i'm rapidly running out of hard drive space on my 09 mac book i could do with at least 500 g , please can any of you advise the best for me to get .that will run fast but will not use the battery too fast.

I believe that MB officially supports 4 GB of memory, but can actually use up to 6 GB of memory.

You can check on either Crucial or OWC for which RAM to get.
You will not notice any difference related to battery life upgrading the memory on your machine.

People seem to get those confused really easily. I think bobtomay even made a rant thread on it. It was actually pretty informative.

As for which HDD to get...well I think the only 7200 RPM HDD that is 500GB for Notebook use is by Seagate.
