I am pleased to say I went and linked up my Motorola V505 with my PB using Bluetooth and iSync now shows the V505 icon, and not only does it work, it works great! iSync will synchronize my Addres Book contacts with the phone. It used to be I could only sync one at a time.

Thanks to Apple!

Does your powerbook have the BT built into it or are u using a USB dongle? I was thinking about getting the 505 as I get 100 dollars towards a new phone June 1st, but my iB dosent have built in BT I was hoping the dongle would work the same as built in.

Yes, I have AT&T (well, Cingular but I haven't officially changed over) and you have to have some sort of data transfer allowance. I have the basic 2MB that came with my account, I really don't use it but it's handy to have.

You use the GPRS method for "dialing" in on OS X.

I was able to connect to the internet before, but with 10.4 iSync now fully recognizes the phone.

Yes the Bluetooth is built in on my PB. I'm not sure about the dongles, but I would assume it would work. It should make the OS recognize there's a Bluetooth adapter, and then you should be able to access the phone.
