If you have a Mac reference book you like, rely on, keep next to you keyboard, etc. al... could you post the name?
I'm looking for a jack of all trades type book.

Thanks.

Every time I have a Mac question these days I just look it up on the internet. It's faster and free.

You could do worse than have a look at 'The Missing Manual' By David Pogue.

I second this choice. I haven't seen or heard of a better one yet.

I also agree with that choice. It is a great book that has a lot of good stuff in it.

100% agree with the above suggestion. David Pogue books are well-written, well-illustrated and immensely readable even if you come to the subject completely ignorant of the subject matter in the first place. Invaluable!

I'll join the chorus. But depending on what you want there are separate editions of The Missing Manual for iWork, iPhoto, iMovie, Office for Mac etc

If your on a budget you can usually download older versions and sometimes find pdf's of more recent manuals online
