Hi all

After taking the plunge and getting my first mac in december, I have to say that 95% of what I've learnt has come from you guys keep it up.

I am looking for a simple list maker that is mainly for shopping, I want to be able to keep separate lists for food shopping, clothing etc.

I just use TextEdit for simple lists.

I wanted to use something a little more complex, eg I am currently looking for radiators and want to be able to store website along with the "buy radiators" on my list.

So i guess I'm not looking for a simple list keeper

Still definitely not complex at all, but I also use SideNote for exactly what you're talking about when researching something I want to buy on the net.

Just a very simple note taking app that hides on the side of your screen. Just move your cursor over it for it to pop out. Doesn't give you any fancy columns or anything, but I've found it to be quite useful for what you're describing.

Although he says it's unsupported at the moment, I've used this app since Tiger and it is still functioning fine under Snow Leopard.
