Can't remove install disc

I have a Macbook Pro...Have installed Crossover Games successfully and trying to install Half Life 2 Orange Box through crossover...The first disc installs successfully and then the software requests you to put in the second disc but when I use every means possible to eject the first disc so i can put in disc 2 the first disc will not eject...Tried terminal ,itunes eject, and disc manager...If I reboot i loose all the first install...Need help please

I really am not trying to be flip but......have you tried pushing the eject key on the keyboard ? I only ask because you do not mention it in your post.

Please list the methods you've used from the OS (other than Terminal). And what is Disk Manager (do you mean Disk Utility)? Once we know what you haven't tried, we can offer further assistance.

Can I assume that the Terminal command was "drutil tray eject"? Give this a read for some other options that may help. While some require a reboot, some do not. The article is old but you may have some luck with the options listed.
