Hi Guys,

Wonder if anyone can help with a problem I have been having with my Mac Book Super Drive, It will only read about 10% of my discs and it is really starting to really annoy me!

It wont read music cds (originals), trying to setup boot camp, it wont read my XP Disc (original) it is really annoying because it used to read every single disc I had.

Can anyone help with this problem and maybe tell me how to fix it?

Thankyou in advance!

Kind Regards

Toneee

Also what Macbook is this? Year? Specs?

It sounds like maybe your drive is dying.

Could be:

1) Overheating

2) Dirty lens -- seriously, pop a CD cleaner into that thing like a dozen times, even if the MacBook doesn't recognize it. Worked like a charm for me.
