When i open a word document created in Mac on a PC, some of the words are combined or there are two spaces between words. Does anyone know what is causing this and is there a fix?

Well, if the OP doesn't have Pages....

Have you tried saving as a pdf? If that comes out ok on the "PC" then you could copy and paste it into a Word file. It's just a work-around, but might be quicker than running Spell Check on the whole file to fix everything. Actually, that wouldn't fix the double spaces unless you did a replace " " with " ". (doesn't render two spaces here!)

And better off by far not making multiple threads. Ask in PC forums perhaps?

Well, if you find a magic solution, let us know! In the meantime, leave it in a mess. Or, you could try a w***-around just to see if it w***s.
