Palm Desktop Message

I'm a rookie to Macs. I have a MacBook. It is running really slow. I've tried OnyX utilities, and power settings, etc... other items suggested on the forum. I purchased Snow Leopard, and upgraded the OS. Now I'm getting a message "To open Palm Desktop Background you need to install Rosetta..." I no longer use a Palm, and would like to get rid of this message.

I'm clueless...

Try searching your library for old palm desktop prefs or cache, delete if found and uninstall any old palm desktop software if need be.
