I wish they would put an update out that would let you make an app open when you double click the home button. Many people have a few pages of apps and this would allow them to quickly open that favorite app without moving it to the home screen or looking for it. I mean they have it to where you can set it to open your camera which is an icon on the main screen why not let you choose an app to set it to? Would anyone else benefit from this? Comment!

Hmm interesting. For me getting to open a App i find CMD~Space to open spotlight then the 1st couple letters of the App and then Return. I can do this in about 3-4 seconds and works fine for me. Any Apps i use everyday are in the Dock ....

Or set it up so your favourite App opens when you log in ??
Is that sort of comment u looking for ??

I find Spotlight or Quicksilver adequate

Cheers

Above post makes no sense to me, given the iPhone/iPod topic?

Well, many of us do not browse per topic, but in 'New Posts' or 'Today's Posts'. Consequently we sometimes forget to look up there to see where the thread has been posted. Know I've done it many times.

Back to the op: No, really would not find that useful. I have not found an app that I would want to set up only a single quick launch button with. Seems if you have an app like that, simply moving that one to your home screen should suffice.
