Hi, I'm in the UK and I will be going over to Australia for a year or so. What will I need to do to allow my iPhone 3Gs to work in Aus?

I'm with O2 at the moment, can I just get a SIM card to work in it, if so, what would I need?

If O2 has a deal with Vodafone u may be able to keep the one you have, but will have to carefully checkout the roaming charges etc. Certainly SIM from Aust carrier may be best choice. Start by asking O2
