I am in need of partitioning my MBP and I have recently upgrade my leopard software to snow leopard.

I have already partitioned it, but it says that it needs the OS X CD. Does it work with the snow leopard upgrade cd or if I have to use full OS X cd, which one do I use???

Thanks

You partitioned it how? Using BootCamp Assistant or Disk Utility?

When/What says it needs the OS X disc?

Do you have Windows installed yet?

I was using BootCamp Assistant

Once I was finished with partitioning of the disk, it asked me for a windows cd. I didn't have a cd yet, I just downloaded the trial version of Windows 7 and wanted to use the software I downloaded to use it. I will be getting a hard copy tomorrow to use it tomorrow.

I never got to the MAC OS X cd part, but it was listed in the beginning that I needed a cd.

Is there a way to do it without cd???

After you have Windows installed and you are booted up into Windows, you will insert the Snow Leopard disc that you already have. That will install all the drivers for Windows.

Do yourself a favor... open up BootCamp Assistant again, right there on the first screen is a button to open the guide - print it and follow it. That guide is as easy as it gets, really.

You do understand, I only have the snow leopard upgrade disk and not a full version.

That is my main issue, will it work with snow leopard upgrade disk???

Yes, I got that. If this is a disc that came from Apple, it will work.

I can't reiterate enough, print the guide.
