I have my Contacts separated in Groups in ADDRESS, however when I open ADDRESS in MAIL, there is only ALL CONTACTS with no GROUPS.

If I click on TO: there are now groups there either.

suggestions??

groups

Probably would work, but would like to see each Group that I have set up in ADDRESS.

This is a new Macbook PRO with Snow Leopard and I have only a few addresses on it so far.

On my I-MAC it works fine- I can see all my groups.

If u type the first letters of the group name that is in address book and then hit , it will add all contacts in that group to the TO: box.
Or perhaps checking this box will do it for you;

groups

No groups show up. What I am trying to accomplish is to send mail to one person in a group, not the entire group.

True, I might type his name- however if I don't remember a person's name, but know what group he is a member of- then it is easier to locate.
