Just upgraded from 2G to 3GS... have a question...

Hi all,

I've just picked up a 16MB 3GS, and was wondering if I can load my 2G backup file onto it to keep all my messages and settings and stuff.

Any help will be great.

Yep it will work just fine with contacts and user data. I don't believe messages will transfer however.

I do believe everything transfers. When I synced my 3GS it was identical to my old iPhone, so identical I didn't even feel as if I got a new phone, lol.
