Sorry, just a quick question: with a vocal track on Garage Band, how do I pull up the list of possible filters? Thanks.

Here's a picture guide that I made to help you out, because I like visuals and I also believe pictures are better than words. So here are the steps one by one:

Ok is it possible I have a newer version of Garage Band? The "Details option is not there for me.

Ok I have looked everywhere. My GarageBand simply does not have a "details" button, or any filter options. Any advice?

Ok so, my version of Garage Band does not seem to have any filters. I have pressed every button and checked every menu for hours. So is there any freeware that allows me to filter audio, specifically, to take a voice track and do things like isolate/take out high range, low range, etc?

You must be running GarageBand '09, because my version is GB '08 4.1.2

I have not yet acquired iLife '09. . . darn!

Look at it this way, if you ever come across GB '08 you know exactly how to get to the filters! lol ;D

lol true. Yes this is a brand new Macbook. There do not seem to be any filtering capabilities on this version, and that really stinks.
