Snow Leopard doesn't support PowerPC Macs (such as yours) so the highest you can go is Leopard. What are the specs of your machine?

You'll be able to go up to leopard, but not snow leopard. Depending on the specs of your machine, it may not be a good idea to upgrade as your machine might not run as fast.

With Jaguar it probably came out with the minimum ram as was Apples practice, so to run Tiger and a few apps etc i would want at least 768 of ram.
