Hello everyone. I was wondering how to connect my MacBook Pro (it's a 2009 alumnium unibody) to my Sony Bravia HDTV. Isn't there a connector I can get to hook into the HDMI in the tv? If so, I would like to know what exactly I need to be looking for. Thanks for all the help!

Where do you want the sound - TV, separate receiver?

Need specific model # of your Sony.

I've got a Sony Bravia KDL-40V4100 tv and I have a surround sound receiver. It's a DAV-HDZ273 model. I imagine I will need a mini-dp to HDMI style setup won't I?

Grab yourself one of these in the length you need for the video feed to the TV.

You'll need a stereo mini-plug cable like this to connect the audio to your surround sound. The only connection option is on the front of the unit.

What about a Vizio 0420E tv... what type of chord would I need to hook that up to an HDTV?
