Hi,
I'm looking to add a second monitor to my MBP, so that i can use it dual screen, but with a wireless keyboard and magic mouse.
I've been looking at the 24" apple LED cinema display, but asides from the extra USB ports and MagSafe lead, I cant see what other reason i should pay twice the price for that over a 24" LG LED monitor?
Any advice would be much appreciated!

Exactly! Apple monitors are nice...but not a very good value (IMHO).

Agreed! Cinema displays do look awesome! But sadly don't offer enough extras as you said to warrant buying one over a cheaper monitor. :p
