From what I saw in the Apple instructions on how to change out the battery, it doesn't appear that is the correct one. The Apple diagram shows the battery to be a button sized battery held by a steel clip on the board.

I suggest you open the cabinet and remove the old battery to compare.

Weird. That's not what it looks like in the book I have. It even says that the computer uses a 3.6 V lithium battery. Maybe it depends on the year I got it? I purchased mine in 2004.
