upgrade sed in mac

Hi
I want to install the lastest version(4.2) of sed.
How can I do?
./configure
make
then I got a message --
--
Making all in doc
make[2]: Nothing to be done for `all'.
Making all in testsuite
make[2]: Nothing to be done for `all'.

Can anybody help me
