Hi there.

I'm new to this.

I have a problem with my DVD drive. Everytime I put in any sort of DVD it just spits it out. Over and over again. It works sometimes, but it takes a long time before it recognizes it.

Does anyone know what it means, or, what I can do to fix it?

We're talking any DVD.

Try cleaning the drive first. Cleaning kits are available at Radio Shack and most stores which sell computers and accessories. The optical light lens in the drive may be dirty. If cleaning doesn't work the drive may have to be replaced. If your machine is still under warranty or Apple care, you can take it on in to your local Apple store and have them look at it. Make an appointment before you go.

Regards.
