i installed istat and it says: health 29%
this is a year old. any suggestions, i attempted to calibrate the battery before and the health was at 29% whereas prior it was 49%

How many charge - recharge cycles are on the battery? Apple considers the battery to have gone through its useful life at around 300 cycles. If you have way less than that, I would contact Apple and see if they'll replace the battery under the warranty.

Regards.

Mines at 336 and it runs at 1-2 hours. -.-
Check your cycles in "About Mac" in "Power"

Really odd. I recommend going to Apple for these type of things or the worst. Get a new battery. Mine has 2 years old and it's life is kinda suckish in my opinion, but whatever.

Mine is at 98% at 6 months and 105 charges. =)

I normally calibrate my battery once a month and run OnyX after I calibrate it.

If you calibrate it once a month or so, you should be fine.

If your battery, however, keeps going down in health (Lower than 90% in a month), I would bring it into the Apple Store to have it checked out.
